Net Zero Economy Authority announced as Platinum Government Partner for 2026 Hunter Agenda
The Committee for the Hunter is proud to announce the Net Zero Economy Authority (NZEA) as the Platinum Government Partner for the inaugural 2026 Hunter Agenda, the premiere conference for discussions relating to Hunter’s industrial future. This partnership highlights NZEA’s commitment to the Hunter and its role in driving the region towards a strong, sustainable and prosperous future.
The Hunter is central to the nation’s clean energy and industry futures. NZEA’s partnership reflects its mandate in ensuring communities and industries navigate this transition with confidence and opportunity.
NZEA CEO, David Shankey is a keynote speaker for the 2026 Hunter Agenda. Mr Shankey leads Commonwealth efforts to help regions, industries and workers navigate Australia’s net zero transformation, with a focus on ensuring communities like the Hunter are supported through change and positioned to capture new economic opportunities.
